CRKT Provoke Zap Kinematic EDC Folding Pocket Knife

The Provoke Zap morphing karambit knife, inspired by ancient design, hides a futuristic secret. Featuring the first-ever Kinematic technology, this knife stays neatly tucked away during transit and springs into action when needed. Now crafted with Grivory—a strong, lightweight, engineered thermoplastic—it's more agile and built to go anywhere.

Designer Joe Caswell, known as a mad scientist around these parts, sketched the Provoke in Newbury Park, California, destined to become one of the knife world's most innovative designers. Modeled after a traditional karambit, the black hawkbill-style blade is made of stonewashed stainless steel.

The opening mechanism is propelling this folder into the future, whether it's ready or not. Applying thumb pressure to the upper crossbar sets off a chain reaction, causing the blade to spring into action while your hand firmly grasps the handle. Crafted with electric green Grivory, a durable and lightweight thermoplastic, the Provoke transitions seamlessly into everyday carry. True to form, the pocket clip is also a world first, sitting nearly flush with the handle and activated by light thumb pressure.

The Provoke answers the call when duty demands. Nudge the upper crossbar with your thumb while firmly holding the handle, and the blade leaps to life, locking into place. Shift the discreet lever at the finger loop's base, and the blade retreats back into its closed position.
