It was half a century after his uncle's service that Austin McGlaun, the designer of the Forged by War karambit fixed blade knife, discovered his late uncle had been awarded the Silver Star at Point Du Hoc. Determined to honor his uncle's service, McGlaun collaborated with Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical to create a mission-inspired eye-catching blade.

The resulting Du Hoc knife is a powerful tactical carry, featuring a 5-inch carbon steel recurved blade that is sharp on both the nose and belly, making it a dependable companion in self-defense situations. The textured G10 handle boasts a thumb ring at the top, providing an unbreakable traditional karambit-style grip.
