The Lanny everyday carry folding knife, inspired by the legendary Tony Bose's custom Lanny's Clip, takes a classic slip joint style and brings it into the future with the Assisted Opening innovation for incredibly fast opening speeds, making it a futuristic folder that feels like you've been carrying for years. Liong Mah, from Palm Bay, Florida, set out to bring the classic Lanny's Clip into the future, preserving what needed to be preserved and refreshing what called for a refresh. The just over 3" modified clip point blade is crafted with easy-to-sharpen high carbon stainless steel, and the aluminum handle feels perfectly pocket worn.

The Lanny is definitively set apart from the pack by the Assisted Opening innovation. Nudge the blade open part way, and the Assisted Opening activates, snapping it open at super high speed. The IKBS ball bearing pivot system makes for a smooth rotation, and a liner lock keeps the blade solidly in place. The blade is held securely closed in your pocket, but initiate the deployment, and part way through the rotation, the blade opens at an impressive speed for simple, powerful, one-handed opening.
