CRKT M16-14ZLEK EDC Folding Pocket Knife: Law Enforcement Everyday Carry

Over the past decade, we have produced numerous variations of the popular M16 line designed by Kit Carson. Of all the versions we have developed, our glass-filled nylon model has built the largest user base. These knives are engineered for functionality, not fleeting trends, and they offer exceptional value. Our new M16 ZLEK line utilizes our highly successful InterFrame construction, featuring tough, textured glass-filled nylon scales over a 420J2 stainless steel liner InterFrame and solid glass-filled nylon back spacers. The handle is assembled using superior offset Torx fasteners. For professional use, we have equipped the Carson Flipper with a seatbelt cutter and a tungsten carbide window breaker at the butt, allowing automobile side windows to be shattered with a quick strike. All components are coated with a durable tactical black finish.

The Flipper can be rapidly deployed with one-handed operation and provides a blade guard when open. We have chosen our premium AUS 8 high-carbon stainless steel for the blades, which feature a combination of Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point Serrated edges to effortlessly cut through rope, cord, canvas, and vegetation. All three M16 models are fitted with our innovative Automated Liner Safety system. This advanced locking liner safety mechanism sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame, providing an additional layer of security to prevent the locking liner from disengaging during use. To close the knife, simply pull the red safety lever back, slide the locking liner, and fold the blade.

The "Big Dog" M16-14ZLEK is a substantial 6.2-ounce knife with a 3.75-inch Tanto blade, capable of tackling any emergency task. This larger model features a four-position clip, allowing for versatile carry on belts or webbing—tip-up, tip-down, left or right. However, these knives are not designed for tip-up pocket carry. With full professional features, a non-reflective black finish, and exceptional affordability, the M16 line continues Kit Carson's legacy.
