Compact Linerlock Knife for Everyday Carry

Over the past decade, we have produced numerous variations of the popular M16 line designed by Kit Carson. Our glass-filled nylon version has built the largest user base of all. These knives are crafted for function, not fad, and they offer exceptional value.

The new M16 ZLEK line features our successful InterFrame construction, with tough, textured glass-filled nylon scales over a 420J2 stainless steel liner InterFrame and solid glass-filled nylon back spacers. We assemble the handle using superior offset Torx fasteners. For professional use, we've added a seatbelt cutter to the Carson Flipper, and a tungsten carbide window breaker at the butt. The automobile side windows can be shattered with a quick whack from the butt of the knife. All components receive a durable tactical black coating.

The Flipper can be quickly opened with one hand, and it creates a blade guard when open. We use our premium AUS 8 high-carbon stainless steel for the blades, which have a combination of Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point Serrated edges to easily cut through rope, cord, canvas, and vegetation. It also features our innovative automated liner safety.

Automated liner safety is the next level of locking liner safety innovation. This system sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame, providing an additional layer of security to prevent the locking liner from disengaging during use. To close the knife, simply pull the red-buttoned safety lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position. This is one of the most secure safety systems on the market.

The M16-13ZLEK is a mid-size model with a spear-point blade, a perennial favorite featuring all the trademark Kit Carson design elements. A black stainless steel two-position pocket/gear clip is included. This knife offers full professional features, a non-reflective black finish, and exceptional affordability.
